Domos Abbeltas

Domos Abbeltas is among the best events in North Sardinia in June 2022 and will take place in Luras.

Culture, food and wine, art, handicrafts. These are the watchwords of the eighth edition of Domos Abbeltas to be held in the village of Luras on the third weekend of June.

At Domos Abbeltas, each citizen is a protagonist with his or her own productions, reproductions and desire to share with visitors ancient arts and crafts and showcase the traditions of a mysterious place that is definitely unique in terms of its customs, traditions and language in the whole of Gallura!

The calendar of appointments

FRIDAY 17 JUNE TO SUNDAY 19 JUNE, 09:30 a.m.

The Domos Abbeltas weekend will begin Friday 17 June at 19.00 with the now famous 'Domo Tour', domos visiting domos...

From the morning of Saturday 18 June there will be the public opening of the Domos and the inauguration with the ribbon cutting at 11.00 am in the presence of the various authorities. The afternoon will be enriched by demonstrations of the ancient arts in the streets of the centre and the parade, starting at 6.30 p.m., of the Folk Groups with the final performance of the participants in Via Nazionale in front of the Town Hall.

From 8 p.m. there will be musical entertainment and from 10 p.m. 'Notte de Domos' will start with music and entertainment in every street until dawn!

Sunday 19 June the opening of the domos will be at 9.30 a.m.followed in the afternoon by demonstrations of ancient arts and the travelling show of traditional masked groups.

After the show, from 7 p.m., the streets of the Domos will be enlivened by the Funky Jazz Orkestra. From 8 p.m. there will be musical entertainment, and from 10 p.m. the 'Night of Domos' will kick off with music and entertainment in every street that will keep you awake and festive until Monday morning!!!

The event will include cultural moments that will see their focus in the painting exhibition in the Tamponi-Perantoni Palace of Lurian artists and literary moments.
