📍 Solorche Riding Arena, Pattada The first day of the Palio dei Comuni del Monteacuto is dedicated to the tradition of horse racing. At the Solorche Riding Arena in Pattada, the Palio degli Anglo-Arabi born and bred in Sardegna takes place, a competition involving the municipalities of Monteacuto and the horses chosen to represent their respective communities. The day’s sporting programme also includes the Palio for local jockeys and the Pony Palio, designed to involve different categories of riders and highlight the link between sport, the local area and a sense of belonging. The 2026 Palio dei Comuni del Monteacuto is a local event that combines equestrian tradition, local identity and the promotion of Monteacuto’s finest products. In Pattada, the Monteacuto Palio brings together ten municipalities in a celebration of community spirit, featuring equestrian competitions, typical Monteacuto produce and Monteacuto crafts. → View the full event
