26 September is one of the key days of the celebrations. The celebrations begin in the morning with Holy Masses and continue in the afternoon with a gathering at the Obriere Maggiore’s house and the solemn procession with the Holy Martyrs, accompanied by horsemen, mounted Carabinieri, dignitaries, the Committees’ flags, folk groups and a marching band. After the 6.30 pm Holy Mass, sung by the Usini Choir, the evening continues with a fireworks display, folk performances presented by Antonio Brundu and a DJ set. The 2026 Feast of Saints Cosmas, Damian and Pantaleon is a religious and popular festival in Giave that combines devotion, culture and tradition.
