📍 Teatro Civico – Palazzo di Città, Sassari “La Burattina di stato” is the new production by the Senza Confini Di Pelle theatre company, a dance-theatre piece created by Dario La Stella and Valentina Solinas.
The work is based on the book by Vittorio Gazale, director of the Asinara National Park: “In the Interest of the State. The Island of Asinara: Between the National Park, the Red Brigades and the Mafia”, winner of the 2025 Piersanti Mattarella Literary Journalism Prize, Investigative Books section.
The book traces the history of Asinara, beginning with its expropriation in the interest of the State in 1885, when a small Italian island off the north-west coast of Sardegna became a reflection of a significant part of our history. Starring Martina Auddino, with original music by Alice Doro and video by Dario La Stella. The event is part of the ARIA Performing Art Festival, an international festival of performing and visual arts spanning the north-west of Sardegna, fostering dialogue between artists, places and the local area. → Go to the full event
