From 7 to 9 August, the 2026 Telti Myrtle Festival celebrates one of the most authentic symbols of Gallura. The event was launched in 1995 thanks to the initiative of a group of young volunteers. It was a simple yet bold idea: to dedicate an event to Telti’s myrtle and offer a cultural alternative to the traditional summer seaside resorts.
Now in its 31st edition, the Sagra del Mirto in Gallura takes the public on a journey through three days of music, art and folk traditions. Piazza Dante and Piazza Rinascita host concerts, ballroom dancing, a parade of folk groups and the impromptu ‘Dipingi la Sagra’ art event. The programme also includes the Va..Lentina Award and performances by the Moses Concas Full Band, the Claudia Aru Band, Salentrio and ‘Poesias’. An opportunity to discover Telti through its flavours, its culture and its connection to the local area.
