The San Leonardo Wine Festival, celebrating Vermentino DOCG, returns to Calangianus, at the Church of San Leonardo, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive groves.
The programme combines a village festival, conviviality, wine culture and the promotion of the local area.
At the heart of the festival is the Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, explored through a themed conference, discussions and tastings.
The main evening event features a Vermentino tasting amongst the stalls, accompanied by a food and wine tasting featuring typical Gallura specialities.
The conference is organised by ONAV, under the patronage of the Laore Agency Sardegna.
Dinner is provided by the Festa San Leonardo association.
The programme is rounded off with the Calangianus open cellars, designed to introduce tourists and visitors to the vineyards, wineries and winemaking processes.
The Calangianus Vermentino DOCG Wine Festival thus becomes an opportunity to discover the flavours, traditions and landscapes of Gallura.
