Sassari, Alghero, Sorso and Osilo

The Nessun Dorma 2026 – Belle Époque Festival, now in its third year, offers a journey through opera, the performing arts, storytelling and the visual arts.
The project draws inspiration from the refined atmosphere of the Belle Époque, encompassing opera, shadow theatre, concerts, historical re-enactments and narrative walks.
In line with Ars Aurelia’s vision, the festival takes music beyond traditional settings and creates accessible and engaging events.
The programme spans Sassari, Alghero, Sorso and Osilo, transforming theatres, historic buildings, cloisters and urban spaces into meeting places where art, memory and imagination converge.
From musical storytelling dedicated to Fabrizio De André to widespread operatic performances, the programme showcases young performers and internationally renowned artists.
Highlights include the Opera Gala for UNESCO, the ‘Piano Pianissimo’ open-air piano festival, and performances evoking the atmosphere of the Belle Époque.
A blend of talent, aesthetics and storytelling that brings opera to life, making it moving and contemporary.
