From 5 to 13 September 2026, with two special events on 19 and 20 September, the 2026 Isole che Parlano International Festival celebrates thirty years of exploration across contemporary arts, traditions, landscape and community.
Directed by Paolo Angeli and Nanni Angeli and organised by the Sarditudine Association, the festival travels through Palau, La Maddalena, Arzachena, Luogosanto and, for the closing event, Orgosolo.
Launched in Sardegna with an international outlook, the project brings together musicians and artists who draw on their cultural roots to develop contemporary forms of expression.
Music, photography, theatre, workshops for children and young people, food tastings and in-depth discussions make up the programme of this multidisciplinary festival in Gallura in 2026.
Among the cultural events in Palau in September 2026 are concerts, talks, photography and projects dedicated to musical traditions, alongside events hosted in the other participating regions.
Contemporary arts and traditions in Gallura engage in dialogue with natural settings, archaeological sites, squares and cultural spaces, in a journey where the landscape becomes a living part of the listening experience.
Under the artistic direction of Paolo Angeli and Nanni Angeli, this initiative continues a thirty-year-long exploration, forging new connections between people, regions and artistic visions.
