Travelling event in Sardegna

Ironik Folktronik 2026 is the travelling cultural festival organised by the Sonos & Sounds Association, now in its twelfth year.

From March to October, the project travels across Sardegna, creating opportunities for cultural participation and the promotion of the local area through contemporary music, artistic experimentation and encounters with places and communities.

Local, national and international artists alternate between ancestral sounds and contemporary expressions, bringing to life a programme comprising concerts, workshops, DJ sets and local productions.

The festival weaves together electronic music in Sardegna, an appreciation of historical and archaeological heritage, and the discovery of landscapes, museums and spaces set amidst nature.

The 2026 edition concludes at Tempio Pausania, at the Organica Museum nestled in the Curadureddu Wood and the Limbara Park, with a full day of nature, contemporary art and electronic music.

Among the highlights of the closing event are Alta Gallura Sound System, Hilmar Arnason, Kabaret Maker, Luca Piermattei and Bogdan Raczynski, headliners of the twelfth edition and appearing in Sardegna for the first time.

A journey through cultures, generations and artistic languages, experienced in a direct, participatory and multidisciplinary setting.
