The 2026 edition of the Figulinas Festival celebrates the 36th Lorenzo Manconi International Folklore Festival.
For 36 years, the Gruppo Folk Figulinas Cultural Association has been organising and hosting international groups from all over the world.
The 2026 edition welcomes delegations from New Zealand, Bolivia, Taiwan, Colombia and China.
Alongside them, folk groups and tenores from every province of Sardegna will take part, bringing to the stage dances, songs and traditions that tell the stories of peoples, identities and collective memory.
The main evening event takes place in Florinas, at the Municipal Amphitheatre.
The programme then continues with the Figulinas Festival on tour, which visits various towns across the island.
The grand finale is scheduled to take place in Castelsardo, in a dialogue between international folklore and the local area.
Since 2005, the Figulinas Festival has been part of the CIOFF Italia network, an organisation recognised by UNESCO for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage and the promotion of folklore festivals worldwide.
