Cantos e Sonos 2026 brings four days dedicated to the music, culture and traditions of Sardegna to Cheremule.
The event is organised by the Cheremule Association for the Promotion of Folk Traditions, founded in 1998 and linked to the Boghes de Cheremule choir.
Since then, the association has been working to rediscover, transcribe, safeguard and pass on the village’s folk musical and religious heritage.
The Sardinian choral singing festival in Cheremule will bring together choirs from across the island, showcasing the diverse styles that characterise this ancient tradition.
The programme will also include a Logudorese guitar-accompanied singing competition, performances by folk groups and a tasting of new wines in Cheremule.
The festival will conclude with the traditional Sardinian choir festival in Sardegna, scheduled for 26 December.
