The ‘In Biddas Noas’ Festival returns to Villanova Monteleone and Monteleone Rocca Doria, now in its sixth year: a cultural festival featuring theatre, music and food tastings, designed to promote areas off the beaten track of the seaside resorts.
The project promotes a form of cultural and experiential tourism, rooted in the local places, stories and produce.
Urban spaces are transformed into open-air theatres: the Sa Pigada ’e su Cantaru steps, Monte Minerva and Piazza Santo Stefano host performances for children, young people and families.
Each event combines theatre with culinary delights, featuring workshops or tastings of local produce.
The festival is also the result of a collaboration between the organising body, the Compagnia Teatro d’Inverno, funding bodies and local businesses.
During the event, coach services will be organised by the Municipality of Alghero to transport visitors to and from the event venues.
